ComSec
CSE is experienced in performing Communication Security (COMSEC) certifications for government and military aircraft. Currently, we serve as the Aviation TEMPEST Field Technical Authority (AFTA) in the ESB Avionics Support Cell at the USCG ALC. Our team performs COMSEC certifications of Government assets and all mission assets. Systems we inspect include Vinson Secure Voice, Advanced Narrow Band Digital Voice Terminal (ANDVT), Secure Voice Satellite Communications, secure STE systems, secure data systems, Mode S Elementary and enhanced Surveillance, Mode 4 IFF, and Mode 5 IFF. We provide TEMPEST guidance for all proposed aviation related COMSEC Systems and coordinate and assist with Instrumented TEMPEST Surveys (ITS) for each new COMSEC installation or modification in each USCG Type/Model/Series aircraft. We ensure all COMSEC parameters are within the TEMPEST certification limits. CSEngineering also provides training to military, civilian, and contractor personnel to assist in certifying aircraft.
